Samsung Galaxy S
Other features that set the Galaxy S apart from the others are the Samsung app store where you can download some high-end games and apps for free, DLNA support for streaming pictures, music and even video to and from other DLNA devices and last but certainly NOT least : The Super AMOLED display used in the Samsung Galaxy S is the brightest and sharpest screen I have ever seen used in a mobile device and that includes comparing it to the Retina display used on the iPhone 4. The fast CPU in the device makes Android run like god. I've personally been using Android devices since the very first one came on the market, so I'm used to the OS being a little sluggish at times, for instance when starting the web browser from an URL in email or SMS. On the Galaxy S everything is just instant. Everything responds so snappy that you forget it's just a phone.. it feels like you are using a small computer (which it obviously is). If you like 3D games on your mobile device, this is currently your best bet. Also the 720p video recording and easy publish methods make it a perfect phone for bloggers on the move. The high price might scare off some more casual users, in that case you are probably better off getting the HTC mini or a similar smaller android device. Full Specifications : Network

T-Mobile G1 / HTC Hero
This is an outdated phone model, but here is a list of specifications and a short user review. Mostly provided so you can compare the newer models.
The G1 or, HTC Hero was the first mobile phone running Android OS. It has a flipout full qwerty-keyboard and a capacative touchscreen. Google has not provided any firmware updates beyond Android 1.5 for these phones, which is the main reason it is a little outdated now. Also, it has a 533 Mhz CPU which means it cannot run the latest games very well. For instance, Angry Birds is not available for Android 1.x versions.

Sporting the 1Ghz Hummingbird CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S is easily the fastest kid on the block today. The HTC Desire for instance also has a 1 Ghz CPU, but this is an older design known as the Snapdragon. The biggest speed difference between the two lies in 3D graphics, while the Snapdragon CPU can push around 22 million polygons a second, the Hummingbird pushes out 90 million in the same second.
